Cuddles Update

We took Cuddles to the vet on Friday for her blood work. The results, inconclusive. Her kidney function is better than the original draw but not as good as when she finished her flush. So there is really nothing to do at this point. She is doing better, has a little more energy, not shaking as much, not leaning when she walks, etc... So we will continue her on her low protein diet and medications for the time being. She seems more peaceful...she still doesn't run and jump around like she used to when she was a youngster, but she is hanging in there. The only thing I am worried about now is her nose...it is dry and cracked. Vet said it could be the weather or a side effect from her kidney issues. So I am putting Vaseline on it and hope it gets better.

Poor thing is being tortured by Patrick. He really loves his dogs right now and it is the worst time for him to be loving on her because he is not that gentle. He tends to harass Cuddles more than Rusty because we all know Rusty will nip at him. So Cuddles gets hugged, kissed, chased, sat on, ridden like a horse, etc... Poor girl!
