Well, today was the first day with dad and Jan gone. Even though we don't live with them and we didn't see them everyday, it is wierd to know that they are not here and won't be for a while.
We miss them already...and it's only day 1.

- We started this blog on a request from Mel's father who had to move to Denver for 9 months. He didn't want to miss Patrick and Parker growing up. Turns out we love posting on here. We have so many family members and friends that live far away that we want them to be a part of our everyday lives too. Hope you enjoy reading about and seeing Patrick and Parker grow up. Yeah, it's only day one, and we've really missed everyone already. At dinner Jan was mentioning about how you hug her and saying how you love her. She really was touched by that gesture. Its too bad that we have to be gone when Mouse is just starting to recognize faces. Miss ya all.
