RSV is negative!

Wow, what a day. Patrick has been suffering from a cold for the last few days that we thought he was just about over. Well, today we took him to the doctor for his 2 month checkup. The doctor came in about the time Patrick had a coughing spell and threw up on me. So she said that we needed to change his well visit to a sick visit. She checked his ears, nose, and throat and listened to his lungs for a long time. Then she said he had too much fluid in his lungs and wanted to test him for RSV and do a breathing treatment with a nebulizer. So the nurse came in a did the RSV test (not fun to watch by the way!) and we gave him a treatment. He seemed to have calmed down quite a bit with the treatment but they were still concerned. Well over the next 2 hours (yes, we got there at 1:00 and left at 4:00) we did 2 more treatments and they decided he looked well enough to go home instead of the hospital. So we have to do breathing treatments every 2 hours until we go back to the doctor in the morning. I finally got a call about 6ish that said the RSV test was negative so that is a load off. Right now, Mouse is sleeping soundly in his car seat (so he can breathe a little easier). Stay tuned...hopefully we will not have to go the hospital sometime during the night. Here are his stats too: Weight=12 lbs 14.5 oz (48%)...so stop calling him fatty patty!! :} , Height=23 inches (50%), and Head Circumference=15.25 inches (10%)

Here are two photos. One is the sleeping beauty in the car seat. The other is Opa comforting Mouse at the doctor (Teddy had to go to work and we rode together so Opa came out to bring us back home).
